Editor’s note - Game laws and bag limits are set by the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries in Richmond after suggested laws are duly published for a hearing. The local Board of Supervisors has no control over this except that the governing body might make a recommendation which may or may not be accepted by the Commission. The Commission keeps tabs on the deer population and laws are made accordingly to regulate this and changed when deemed necessary.
