Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kite of Shenandoah joined the Jones’ and guests for supper Saturday night at the Flint Hill Fire Hall. Sunday visitors of Mrs. Guy Burke at her home on Gay Street were Mr. and Mrs. Judd Burke of Flint Hill and Mrs. Cecil Atkins of Leesburg. Mrs. Burke’s luncheon guest Wednesday was her son Trenton Burke of Culpeper. Thomas H. Manuel, jr. of Winchester and his son T. H. Manuel III were Saturday visitors of Mr. Manuel’s aunt Mrs. J. M. Lillard. Mr. Manuel, III is at home on furlough from military duty in Texas.
Capt. and Mrs. Richard Tuma returned home last Wednesday from a two week visit with Mrs. Tumas’s father and step-mother Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Scott in Belleville, Kan. and also with her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. James Scott at St. James, Mo.

Wolf, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. J. P. Snead, Jr., Mrs. Elmo Flynt and Mrs. E. A. McNear. Prize winners were Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Snead, and Mrs. Flynt.
