Dear Editor:

The most of my time is spent alone. In that time I do what I call “Alone Thinking.” The subjects during that thinking are many and varied. Of special importance now is the subject of elections - Federal, State and Local.

In Rappahannock the local elections should be of grave concern to every citizen. In my concerned thinking the words How, Why and What seem to hold prevalence in importance. How are our officials chosen? They are elected by vote, we say. It is a privilege and a duty to vote. However, that vote should be cast wisely, after deliberation concerning the qualificaions of the person seeking the'office. Casting a vote wisely is a duty also.
