Dodson entered Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville last week. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Oden of sharps burg, Md. were guests sunday of Mrs. Gladys Anderson md sons. Earle Wayland underwent surgery Friday at the McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond. Mrs. Wayland and other members if the family have visited him. Jack Brown and sons David and Mike of Hamilton were recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers visited Mrs. Nethers, father, Allen Lillard, a patient at the Cedars /Arlington House in Charlottesville Sunday. j
Celebrates 75th Birthday
Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown spent the weekend in Richmond with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Williams in their new home at “Totopotomoy Trail” and were entertained Friday evening by members of the family in honor of Mr. Brown’s 75th birthday. Present were Mr. and Mrs Allen Brown and children, Tracy Lisa and Billy of Winston-Salem N. C., Mrs. Phyllis Shirey, Mrs, Jean Konek and children, Robin, Joey and John, all of Richmond, and Mr. and Mrs. Williams. Saturday Mrs. Phyllis Shirey was hostess to the group for dinner with Mrs. Allen Brown’s mother joining them.
