However, when Page County came to Rappahannock Tuesday night, they did not allow the Panthers two straight wins. Both the J. V. and varsity games were defeats for Rappahannock. The varsity lost 109-62 to a very strong Page County team. Starter Lawrence Turner was ill and could not play, while Cliff Frye and Harry Jordan both fouled out. Jordan was Rappahannock’s high scorer with 18. Bill Kilby replaced the ailing Turner and played a fine defensive game while adding eight points. Steve Leake, playing only part of the game, added 14 points.
The Panthers’ next game will be against William Monroe at that school Friday, Decembe 17.

Razed By Fire
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Dodson of Boston was destroyed by fire Saturday night about 11:30. The Dodsons returned to their home from Castleton to find the structure ablaze. They failed to save any clothing, furniture or possessions whatever.
Castleton and Culpeper fire companies responded to the alarm but the flames were too far advanced to extinguish. Castleton, however, remained to hose down other buildings and avoid further damage.
The Dodson family needs any and all household goods and clothing. If anyone has a contribution they wish to make the clothing sizes are listed. Mrs. Dodson wears a size 14, dress, 34 blouse and 8 shoe. Mr. Dodson takes size 30/31 pants, 141/2 shirt, 8 shoe, 101/2 socks and 36 coat or jacket. James Dodson wears size 34/31 pants, 15-16 shirt, 8 shoe and 101/2 socks. Mr. Kennedy same size.
Mr. Dodson is a tree surgeon by tfade and lost all of his working equipment, also.
