Mi** Moffett Named to
Science Fraternity
Miss Carter Moffett, daughter of Judge and Mrs. W. F. Moffett of Washington, was recently initiated into the Zeta Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu at Mary Washington College. Pi Gamma Mu is the National Social Science Honorary Fraternity, founded in 1924. Members are chosen from the social science disciplines of history, geography, sociology, political science and economics. Members must have completed a required number of hours in a Social Science with high academic achievement both in it and in general college work. Miss Moffett, a Political Science major was among the 42 new members chosen from over 200 qualifying nominations.
