Army guys. Some girls even managed a few snapshots and words after the assembly. Anyone who could manage a trip to RCHS would appreciate the door decorations in the halls. Some real talent has been shown in these decorations. They are all good but the best will be discovered next week when they are judged. Last Thursday and Friday Mr. Wingfield visited the French classes and talked about his trips overseas with the U.S. Navy. As one person commented Mr. Wingfield really showed himself to be human!
We keep picking up tidbits of information on the faculty’s Christmas program. So far we have Mr. Flinchum as a donkey, Mrs. Pomeroy doing a solo, and word that the whole program will be dramatic? Christmas may never recover!!
Again Saturday there was a big turnout of Seniors to work at Big Devil. All seven with Mr. Flinchum, the sponsor, worked in the kitchen and on the slopes. The lodge was flooded when two bright Seniors unscrewed the water faucet handle while washing dishes. Other than that the day ran smoothly. Two Seniors worked Sunday. I know Rappahannock is big but can two people really work in one place at one time and not know the other is there?
