Judge W. F. Moffett attended a County Judge Judicial Conference at the Williamsburg Lodge in Williamsburg from Wednesday through Friday of last week. Miss Carter Moffett will arrive Friday from Mary Washington College to spend the Christmas holidays with her parents Judge and Mrs. Moffett. Mrs. T. C. Lea left Tuesday for Bedford. Hiere she will join the John Cargill family for a two weeks trip to Florida, visiting various points of interest. They expect to spend the New Year holiday at the home of Mrs. Lea’s nephew, T. S. Williams, Jr. and family in Atlanta, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. William Swift of Arlington were visitors Sunday of Mrs. Swift’s aunt Mrs. W. M. Fletcher and all were luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulconer in Orange. Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett accompanied Mrs. H. L. Miller of Luray Sunday to Winchester where they visited Mrs. Moffett’s brother H. L. (Pat) Miller at the Shawnee Nursing Home. Recent supper guests of Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinland were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Wilbur and son Carter of Springfield.
Mrs. B. M. Miller entertained Sunday night with a family dinner at her home on Mt. Salem Avenue. Her guests ware Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mr. and Mrs. Charles K. Estes, Kim and Ken of Sperryville, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Johnson, Mark Williams, Lisa and Eric, all of Luray and Miss Elizabeth Cohen of Springfield, Va.
Mrs. Jack Nicholson and Mrs. Henry Keyser were in Fairfax on Sunday to visit Mrs. Nicholson’s daughter Mrs. Merle Reynolds who is a surgical patient in the Fairfax Hospital.
