Squad Notes [
Sperryville Rescue Squad transported Mrs. H. H. Aylor from Johns Hopkins Hospital to her home in Sperryville on December 10. The same day Lloyd Fitzhugh was taken from his home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Rapphannock Rescue Squad on December 9 reported to a call at the residence of Bill Yates (William Thomas). Taken to Dr. Snead’s office, he was pronounced dead on arrival. The same day Archie Dodson, Jr. was taken from his home to University of Virginia Hospital. On Dec. 12, Junior Woodward was taken from Washington fire house to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. December 13, Virginia Linsberg was taken from her home in Flint Hill to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Castleton Fire Company along with a Culpeper unit responded Saturday night to a house fire at Marshall Brukes.
