Farewell Party
The Rev. Jose Esteban Hernandez, who has been preaching at the Masanova Pentecostal Church near Amissville, left Friday to return to his home in Matehuala, Mexico. He has been in the county since April, staying with the Rev. Archie Clatterbuck. He was honored with a farewell and birthday party December 3 at Sperryville fire hall. Among those attending the party were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pullen, Lisa Wharton, Mrs. Maggie Settle, Mr. and Mrs. Shelvey Frazier,and daughters Sherri and Janet, Mr. and Mrs. James Foster and daughters Margaret and Irene, Mr. and Mrs. MacArthur Pullen, Mrs. Elinor Washington, Miss Linda Stewart, Mrs. Dorothy Foster and family Kay, Violet and Elvis, Mrs. Betty Ritenour and daughter Lori, Mrs. Alice Tharp, Miss Mary Tharp, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Clatterbuck and daughter Ruth and Margie Williams.
