killed April 18 on U. S. Route 1 near Woodbridge when he was struck by a motorcycle as he stepped from his parked car near a restaurant.
A native of Brewton, Ala., he was the son of John Andrew Burnham and Margaret Nyrtice Nelson Burnham of Brewton.
Besides his parents, survivors include his wife, the former Miss Ella Fincham; two sons, John Wade and Gerald Mark Burnham; three daughters, Ella Marie, Linda Sue and Debra Ann Burnham, all of Boston.
Other survivors are two brothers, Michael and James Burnham; two sisters, Mrs. Wiley Downing and Mrs. Eugene Frazier; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Henry Nelson, all of Brewton, Ala. □
