Homemakers District VIII Federation meeting is scheduled for May 3 at. Columbia Baptist Church in Falls Church beginning at 10 a.m. This district is composed of the counties of Rappahannock, Fairfax, Prince William, Fauquier, Culpeper, Madison and Arlington.
Melvin R. Landis, principal of Mt. Vernon High School in Alexandria, will be guest speaker for the meeting which has as the theme: “Our Homes in Today’s World.”
Special music will be presented by the Madrigal choir of J. E. B. Stewart High School, McLean, and a summary of the year’s activities will be given by outgoing state president Mrs. Trammel Oliver of Crewe.
New officers will be installed. □
