Film to be shot here
A FILM CREW under the direction of producer Sid Plait will be working in Rappahannock County this summer to produce a documentary film depicting the life of Negroes in the County.
According to Dr. Charles L. Perdue Jr. Assistant Professor of Folklore at the University of Virginia, the film consultant, the movie will be dtled, “Come Day, Go Day, God Send Sunday,” and will focus on the Church as its main theme.
Most filming will be done between May 15 and June 15, with occasional work extending through September.
Member s of the film and sound recording crew are Bill Berry, Brad Sanders, E>ob Keller and Sieve Eshelman. The film, when completed, will have a preliminary showing in Rappahannock Cour ty at a place and date to be announced. □
