Silas J. Wallace, 79, a native of Rappahannock County who resided at Woodville, died April 16 at McGuire Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Richmond. Interment was Thursday J.n the Culpeper National Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Charles and Anna Wallace and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church of Woodville. He was a retired government employe.
Survivors include two sons, Charles of Richmond and Silas of Washington, D. C.; six daughters, Misses Frances and Rebecca Wallace of Woodville, Mrs. Marie Schofield, Mrs. Dorothy Snowden and Mrs. Geraldine Ellis, all of Washington, D. C. and Mrs. Jean Barnes of Arlington; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Other survivors are a brother, Clarence of Woodville and two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Wheatley of Ocean City, N. J. and Mrs. Lawrence Dennis of Castleton.
