Queen contest
Young ladies from the Amissville area from the age of 12 years up are eligible to enter the queen contest held in conjunction with the firemens carnival annually. Girls who will be 12 by June 1 may be contestants, and the contest winner will serve as honorary fire chief for a year following.
Mrs. Everett Smith of Amissville is chairman of the queen contest and all entries may be made through her. □
