Currently Miss Yakimis a member of Beta Sigma Phi social sorority where she is librarian and program chairman; vice president of Winchester City Council; secretary of the Rappahannock County Education Association and a member of the Warren County Dental Health Association.
In addition to her participation in school sponsored events, she regularly visited patients in the Lynn Care Center, Front Royal, where she lives and helped with baskets for the needy, among other community service projects.□
