After a long and lively discussion involving several hunter delegations, the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries has voted to let the bear season go back to the one week early opening for the state, reports Commission Executive Director Chester F. Phelps.
The move came following the announcement by Chairman E. Floyd Yates that a committee would be given the responsibility of determining die best season before next year’s regulations are approved.
