Farmers have complained that construction workers have used foul language and received personal abuse besides disrupting harvest or planting.
These are all damages which should be noted — preferably pictorially. A Polaroid camera costs very little, but it establishes guilt quite effectively in a court of law.
Landowners should negotiate for a better settlement if they honestly feel that a fair price has not been offered for damages incurred or land taken or that the apiount is below settlement made with owners of comparable property.
