It’s a small world IN ENGLAND, WHERE things are more crowded, it takes a bit of doing to preserve a beautiful landscape. But even with the high density population, the English do quite well in maintaining a rural aura, even though tlfeir nation is one of the most industrialized jn the world, and even though it was in England {hat the Industrial Revolution began. We bring this up not by way of travelogue but as an introduction to passing on a bit of information that some Rappahannock Countians might regard as timely. “It’s the syme the ‘ole World over,” goes a refrain from a drinking song, and the following excerpt from the “Country Code,” published by Countryside Commission and the Central Office of Information, shows what we mean:
