Postal retirees held their annual autumn meeting at Grave’s Mountain Lodge on Thursday October 12. There were 48 persons present, including wives and guests. Among the retirees were two octogenarians — one 82 and the other 84.
The one who traveled furthest was from Auburndale Fla., those nearest were from Sperryville, Woodville and Culpeper.
There was a brief pause in memory of the three who had passed on since the last meeting.
After a brief business meeting the, group adjourned, hoping to see each other again next year. □
