OBITUARIES
Mrs. Smith
Mrs. Eliza Arm Smith, 88, of Chester Gap died October 13, 1972 in Lynn Care Center of Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. She was the widow of Arthur Garfield Smith, and daughter of the late James Williams and Eliza Ann Rutherford Williams of Chester Gap.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock in Robertshaw Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Alden Yates and the Rev. Irving Johnson. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Gilbert Smith of Front Royal; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Nish North of Huntly; a half sister, Mrs. Sarah Leach of Front Royal; and a half brother Woodrow Williams of Seaside, Cal.
Serving as pallbearers were Aubrey North, Bowser Williams, Herman Williams, Albert Cameron, James Williams and Thomas Williams. □
