wins contest
Randy Smith, the 12-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Everette Smith of Amissville, was the winner of the annual fox horn blowing competition held in Fredericksburg.
The contest was held in conjunction with the dog mart on Saturday and this was the eighth victory for Randy.
For the first time he participated in the mixed contest rather than the junior division. He tied with an adult and then went on to win the “blow off.” □
