HOMECOMING SERVICES
Homecoming services at Amissville Baptist Church scheduled for Sunday, September 16, will mark the 85th anniversary of the church. The 11 o’clock morning worship will be conducted by the Rev. Charles Kindred of Elkton.
Dinner on the grounds will begin at noon and at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, a special music service will be held. □
TRAIL RIDE
Rappahannock Trail Riders plan an eary fall ride Sunday, September 9 beginning at Horseshoe House on the Fodderstack Road between Flint Hill and Washington.
Directions from Flint Hill: take Route 606 and continue about four miles to Horseshoe Farm and unload in the field on the left at the double white gates. □
