SUPERVISOR Pete Luke said copies could be acquired by individuals, at a cost of “20 cents a sheet if you go to Luray, 25 cents a sheet in Culpeper.”
In answer to a question, it was stated that only about 15 copies of the two proposed ordinances are in existence.
Phil Irwin of Flint Hill had a different view of the situation: “The availability of copies is not terribly important. That’s not a fair excuse for people not knowing what is contained. The ordinances have been available for inspection for two weeks.
“If I had any criticism to make, I would hay the ordinances don’t go apywhere near far enough.”
Even so, he encouraged support of both documents, warning that the county should also treat “leisure home” subdivisions as
