Joseph H. (Joe) Hoge, Jr., 63, ofBluefield, W. Va. died September 2, 1973 in University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.

Funeral services and interment were in Bluefield on Tuesday.

Mr. Hoge was born in Bluefield, a son of the late * Joseph H. and Liza Strother Hoge. He spent his early life in the home of Judge F. Strother and Miss Belle Strother at Washington, Va.

Surviving are his wife Mrs. Minerva Hoge; a daughter, Mrs. Liza Riley ,of Bluefield; two sons, Joseph H. Hoge, III of Charleston, W. Va., and Charles Hoge of Bluefield. □
