RLEP meet

THE RAPPAHANNOCK League for Environmental Protection will hold its next meeting on September 14, at 8 p.m. in the Court House, Washington, Va.

Phil Irwin, President of RLEP said, “1 would like for everyone, members and non-members, to attend this meeting. Because of the recent discussion on the Zoning and Sub-Division Ordinance in Rappahannock,” Irwin said, “the RLEP program which will focus on land use planning should be of interest to all citizens.”

The program will include several speakers— George H. Davis, Jr., Commonwealth’s Attorney, will speak on Land Use Planning at the county level. W. P. Dinsmore White, Executive Director, Piedmont Environmental Council, will speak on Regional Land Use Planning, and Bob Dennis, President, Conservation Council of Virginia, will discuss National Land Use Planning.
