gets uncomfortable when some individual seeks to blow a perhaps refreshing and (informative wind “down his neck,” (to use your figure of speech) he is much too delicate for the hurly-burly of his job, which is to protect the public interest.
For instance, I feel that Mr. Newbill Miller, an estimable and dedicated young, public servant whom I personally admire, allowed himself to be too fretfully affected, at this meeting. He should realize that some people, for example, could ^uite naturally question the propriety of his “dual capacity,” as you say, of Supervisor and member of the planning commission, particularly, as he reportedly has real estate business interests. May I say I’m sure that most folks are glad and grateful that Newbill Miller is a member of our Board of Supervisors. I certainly am very happy about it, but perhaps he should take a lesson in fortitude against public criticism from the good President of this nation.
