Girls basketball
GIRLS BASKETBALL teams have been organized at Rappahannock County High School, both varsity and junior varsity. However, these teams are experimental and must be established and participate in intrascholastic activities for two years before becoming affiliated with a league.
Miss Ann Spieker is coach for the girls groups and offers the following schedule of games:
September 17 the varsity will play Luray at Rappahannock with game time 7 p.m. September 22 the varsity will meet Strasburg at Rappahannock at 10:30 a.m. September 26 the junior varsity will play Warren County at Warren County beginning at 7 p.m.
A repeat home game with Warren County is scheduled for October 3 at 7 p.m. The varsity will play Luray at Luray October 10 at 7 p.m. On October 29 both the varsity and junior varsity girls will play William Monroe at William Monroe beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Admission to all games will be 50 cents for students and 75 cents for adults and all tickets will be purchased at the door.D
