Mrs. Helen Kilby interrupted Luke. ‘ ‘I don’t think this statement is representative of Sperryville. You keep talking about the businessmen you’ve seen. What about the homeowners, the homesteads in the town? If you widen the road inside Sperryville you’ll take them.”
Mrs. Kilby continued: “Some people have worked all their lives to have a home and bring up their kids. Yop can’t just take that away.”
