THE Steering Committee to Organize a Youth and Community Center for Rappahannock will hold an open meeting for all interested persons on January 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Rappahannock County Elementary School.
This committee has met several times to poll community interest, analyze a survey cf teenage interests, discuss funding, etc.
The director of the Front Royal Youth Center and several teenage members of its Board of Directors will be. present to tell the audience of their experiences in forming a youth center, “from scratch.”
George Graham and Rapley Owings, co-chairmen of the steering committee, stressed the importance of everyone — parents, high school students and residents without children— attending this open meeting.
