Joseph Scherschel returned home Christmas Eve from a ten week assignment for National Geographic in Guatemala. His assignment included photographing Tikal, an ancient ' mine ruin and various archeological sites. •*' Mrs. Scherschel accompanied him to Florida where with car they took the M/S Bolero to Yucatan and from there drove to Guatemala' City. Mrs. Scherschel returned by plane after three weeks while Mr. Scherschel .continued his assignment.
