9 v A funeral service for lames Walker Bennett, 91, of Front Royal was held Friday from the Turner Funeral Home in Front Royal conducted by the Rev. Irving Johnson. Interment was in Masonic Cemetery, Washington, Va. Mr. Bennett died July 2, 1974 in Shawnee Springs Nursing Home, Winchester.
He was a native of Washington, Va., son of the late Eastham A. Bennett and Alice Jenkins Bennett.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Elliott Bennett; three sons, Ellis W. Bennett of Flint Hill, George P. Bennett and James C. Bennett, both of Front Royal. Another son David predeceased him, five daughters, Mrs. Lillian E. Knight, Mrs. Mary Alice Elliott and Mrs. Stella P. Payne, all of Front
