We live in Rappahannock County, in the beautiful Blue Ridge foothills. The powerline would traverse 12 of Virginia’s counties. Far from being screened by natural growths, the huge unsightly towers would in fact, on our farm and many others, be perched atop open knolls overlooking lush meadows and even rivers and be visible for miles around. Surely if the Governor is to be responsive to the concerns of the citizens, and if as we believe he truly wants to do his part to protect and preserve our environment, he would voice his objection
