WARREN AND RAPPAHANNOCK County Schools will open for the 1974-75 session on August26. Friday, August 30, is scheduled as a work day for teachers and pupils will not attend school on that date. Monday, September 2, will be observed as a holiday.
Parents of school age children not previously enrolled in the Warren or Rappahannock schools should make enrollment arangements at the appropriate school as early as possible in order that proper scheduling may be completed. Children entering school for the first time must have reached their sixth birthday on or before November 1, 1974.
State law requires that before any child is admitted for the first time to a public elementary school the child must have a comprehensive physical examination by a qualified licensed physician. Parents are urged to arrange for the completion of the physical examination early in order that it may not cause a delay in admission. □
