A graveside funeral service for Albon Waverly Yowell of Etlan was held Sunday at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Madison conducted by the Rev. Ronald Wiley.

Mr. Yowell, 92, a for*mer superintendent of schools in Madison and Green Counties, died July 5, 1974 at his home following a long illness. A native of Rappahannock County, he had lived in Etlan for many years.
