Allen Raymond Baker driving a truck for Continental Bakery ran off the road to avoid another vehicle, lost control of the truck, struck some trees and was killed, according to Trooper R.A. Baines who investigated the crash. A collision involving three vehicles occurred Friday on Route 211 just west of Amissville. Kelly Edwards of Amissville operating a ’68 Chevrolet collided with two other vehicles approaching. This resulted in a charge of reckless^ driving and driving under the influence for Edwards, according to investigating officer R.D. Irvine.
