“Hey, I’ve got two threshing machines,” says Herbert Foster, who finds time from running a 1.200 acre farm near Flint Hill, 800 acres actually under cultivation, to serve on the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors. He took the morning off Thursday, July 3, to help tend to the monthly county business that had accumulated for the Board, but shortly after lunch he was back out in the field, helping with the threshing.
