carnival opens
Castleton Fire Company and Rescue Squad will open a three-night benefit carnival tonight, Thursday, July 11. The event will continue through Saturday night at which time a guand prize, a 1974 Ford Pinto will be given away. Other prizes to be awarded include $50 cash and $25 cash.
A box supper prepared by the Ladies Auxiliary will be sold Friday night and good food, including hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks and coffee will be available each night.
There will be games of skill, amusements, fun and entertainment for all ages each evening, wholesome activity for the entire family. □
