GOVERNOR Mills E. Godwin, Jr., has announced he will hold the State’s first Governor’s Energy Conference in Richmond on November 8. Selected heads of government, industry and commerce will be invited to attend “so that they might become better acquainted with Jhe energy issues facing Virginia and the nation as a whole.’’
According to the Governor, speakers at the Conference will include key officials of the Department of Commerce, Council on Environmental Quality, Federal Energy Administration and Department of Interior. “The public recognizes the essential connection between society’s economic strength and its sources of energy,” said the Governor.
