On October 10, Andy Settle of Amissville was carried from Rappahannock Elementary School to Warren Memorial Hospital by Washington Rescue Squad.
Sperryville Rescue Squad answered two calls this week. On Friday, October 11 it was called to an accident at Turnbridge but services were not needed. Wednesday October 16 it responded to an accident East of Sperryville on 211 and transported Meredith Knapp of Shenandoah to Culpeper Memorial.
Amissville Fire Company responded October 12 to a brush fire east of the village but service was not needed.
