Flint Hill Rescue Squad was on standby at Bealeton Air Show Sunday October 27.
Chester Gap Fire Department was called to Huntly Sunday to help extinguish a brush fire. No serious damage was reported.
Washington Rescue Squad had two calls October 26th. Ona Smith of Sperryville was taken to Culpeper Memorial and Pete Cave was taken from the jail to Warren Memorial.
The Washington Fire Department put out a roadside fire near Fannons October 26 and on the 27th extinguished one across from Paynes garage on Route 211.
Sperryville Rescue Squad on Wednesday October 23, carried Mrs. Marie Hite from Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial.
Saturday October 26, Brenda, Barbara and Mrs. Thomas Brown of Woodville were transported to Culpeper Memorial after being hit by a car on 211 West of Sperryville.
Sunday another pedestrian, Thomas Biscoe of Baltimore, Md. was carried from Atkins fruit stand to Culpeper Memorial after being struck by a car.
On October 24, Washington Rescue Squad carried Ritchie Woodward from his home to Warren Memorial Hospital. November 2, the unit carried Arlene Keithley to Fauquier Hospital. On November 3 the squad answered two calls, Steve Bailey and Stephanie Hawkins were carried from an accident on Fodderstack Road to Fauquier Hospital, and Sharon Labovitz was transported from her home to Culpeper Memorial.
Flint Hill Rescue Squad took John Lee from his home on Fodderstack to Warren Memorial, on November 3. They also worked the Orleans Hunt that day.
November 4, the Flint Hill Fire Department put out a field fire on the old Ott Welch farm.
Sperryville Rescue Squad on November 1 carried Mildred Butler from Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial. On November 2, Bruce Gardner and Charles VVesingburg both of Fairfax, were taken from; an accident on Rt. 231 at H & J
