Richard Raymond Brown, 68, of Miami, Fla. died November 5, 1974 in a hospital there. He was a former resident of Sperryville, the son of Atha Lewis Brown and Blanche Brown. He was a carpenter and had lived in Florida for 20 years.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Beulah Armentrout of Front Royal, Mrs. Lucy Creel of Culpeper, Mrs. Lucille Corbin of Manassas and Mrs. Katie Wayland of Woodville; and a brother, James Floyd Brown of Front Royal.
A funeral service was held Sunday at the Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper conducted by the Rev. James Mastin. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Pallbearers were Nelson Nethers, Lester Wayland, Marshall Burke, James Bennett, Gordon Creel, Mitchell Jenkins, William H. Brown and Donald Gore.D
