Odd apples grown by Foster Brothers Orchards, Flint Hill include malformed fruit which grew in the fork of a limb, right and left; a small apple growing in the top of an average apple, and an apple with leaves growing right out of the peel, left and right, respectively. Herbert Foster, who has been an orchardist for many years, said he had never seen leaves growing from the fruit skin before.
