PTA membership
drive under way
Mrs. Mary B. Quaintance, principal of Rappahannock County Elementary School, has announced that the annual membership drive for the PTA of the school is now under way. These memberships provide the only source of money needed to finance PTA projects and certain extra-curricular activities.
This year, through the sponsorship of the Rappahannock Womans Club, school students will hear a performance by the Virginia Synfonia. Memberships from last year will enable student’s admission to be held to a minimum.
Memberships are $1 per family and anyone interested in supporting the school and its activities may join. Cards will be given new members. Every student is participating in the drive and prizes will be given for salesmanship^
