OWNERS of the Rappahannock Ski Area who want to locate a “recreational vehicle” or camper trailer park on the property weren’t turned down by the Board of Zoning Appeals after a public hearing on Tuesday, but they were advised to re-submit their application under a different article of the zoning ordinance. Members of the Zoning Appeals Board want the application resubmitted under Article 12B, which covers “travel trailer or camper parks,” instead of Article 7, which concerns “recreational resorts.” Article 12B is more specific concerning the size and location of the trailers to be brought into the park as well as the water and sanitation facilities needed to serve them, it was stated.
