Flint Hill Firemen and Ladies Auxiliary held their annual picnic Sunday afternoon at the carnival grounds. Feted at the event was W. A. Buntin who recently retired from the Department of State Police. The organizations presented Mr. Buntin a fishing rod and two reels in appreciation for the 29 plus, years of service to the area. H. S. Barksdale made the presentation and Richard Settle, right, inspects the gear.
