GENERAL W.A. Noce came to the Rappahannock planners meeting last Wednesday and told them he thought they deserved an apology from District Planner Jim White. Noce read from a past issue of the Rappahannock News in which White was quoted as saying he didn’t approve of the federal government proposal to place all inland waterways under the jurisdiction of the Corps of Engineers, “considering their track record.”
