Dr. J. Laurence Manwaring, an ear, nose, and throat specialist, has opened an office for the practice of otolaryngology at 394 Jackson St., Warrenton. Dr. Manwaring comes frbm Charlottesville, where he had a year of internship and four years of'residency at the University of Virginia Hospital, studying under the auspices of Dr. G. Slaughter Fitz-Hugh.

His specialty is the branch of medicine which deals with the broad spectrum of diseases of the ear, nose, and throat, including microsurgery for inner ear problems, major surgery for head and neck cancer and cosmetic surgery of the nose, face, and ears.
