UP-TO-THE-HOUR agricultural news is now available through special telephone recorder systems installed at the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Commerce (VDAC) market news service offices in Richmond, Onley, Windsor and Warsaw. A special number located in Raleigh, N. C. can be called for information on tobacco markets.

The tapes, which will be made twice or three times daily, will be approximately three minutes long and include local and national information, plus some futures. They can be called any time, day or night.

The service, made available for the convenience of the agricultural industry in Virginia, is a joint effort of the Virginia Pork
