Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Paulsen of Newport News spent Thursday through Saturday with her mother Mrs. W.C. Campbell. Friday they visited Mrs. C.H. White in Linden who had broken a wrist.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Forloines and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Carpenter of Bryans Road, Md. were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark Saturday evening.

Mrs. John R. Eastham entertained with a birthday dinner for her husband Friday evening. Guests were Gerald Frazier, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frazier, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark, Richie and Edie Eastham. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thancheck and sons of Nokesville were Monday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Eastham and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley attended the program “Drama of Creation’’ at Natural Bridge Friday evening. Saturday they toured Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway and stayed overnight at Meadows of Dan.

John Weaver, Ena Comargo and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Gomez, all of Washington, D.C. and Ralph Gomez of Phoenix, Ariz. were Sunday dinner guests of J.S. Weaver. Visiting him Monday were his sisters, Mrs. Jesse Hawkins, Mrs. C. G. Thornhill and Mrs. G.R. Butler, all of Boston.

Mr. and Mrs. H.T. Updike Jr. and children will leave Friday to return to their home in Australia after visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Updike and other relatives. They will be accompanied to Dulles Airport by Mr. and Mrs. Updike. .Miss Gail Updike and Mrs. trank Parker of Culpeper. Miss Gail Updike is attending summer school at Radford where she is taking classes in special education.□
